Admin Center and Upgrades

Note that only users who are D365 Administrators or Global Administrators can open the Dynamics 365 Business Central Admin Center.

Business Central Admin Center is a portal for system administrators to perform various tasks. This includes access to:

• View and work with the production and sandbox environments for your company, including:

  • Update the system to the latest version of Business Central.

    • The Business Central environments are updated according to a roadmap with 2 major releases in April and October each year along with monthly minor releases. Here are additional details.

  • Set up new environments

  • Restoring an environment

  • Managing sessions

  • Managing apps (such as WiseFish)

    • WiseFish’s systems are made available inside the Admin Center for all customers, but it is up to the System Administrator to install the updates in the environments themselves (real and test environments). This is done in a simple way inside the Admin Center. Click here for more information.
