Blanket Sales Agreements

Overview

Blanket Sales Agreements are a type of a sales agreement and can serve as an umbrella for many Delivery Agreements.

Creating a Blanket Sales Agreement

There are two ways to create a Blanket Sales Agreement. One can also create a new agreement from the Blanket Sales Agreement list or by copying an existing agreement.

Registering a Delivery Agreement

The first step of the process would be to fill out the Blanket Sales Agreement Header. The Header contains information on the customer, shipping terms and other information. Other sub-sections are optional to fill out and depend on the needs of each user. The following step is to fill out the Blanket Sales Agreement Lines. The user is required to do so in order to sell the Trade Items. There are several methods to reserve the items in the lines depending on whether Trade Items exist in the system or not. The user then chooses which method to use.

Creating Deliveries

The user can either create a single Delivery Agreement from the Blanket Sales Agreement or create scheduled deliveries. The user is able to post delivery agreements without the blanket agreement becoming closed. The final step is to post the Blanket Sales Agreement.
