Create Production

This action is not commonly used but is an option for those with a separate inventory system, to see how to create a production agreement, click here. The Create Production action allows the user to produce the stock that will be sold in the Delivery Agreement. This action is used when Inventory is kept in a separate system and Inventory needs to be created in WiseFish to sell the products. The user does not store information on Inventory in the system and therefore needs to be able to create Inventory quickly to be able to use WiseFish to sell products. The user then produces based on sales and creates items into a Lot and directly into Inventory.

Prior to using the Create Production the user must fill out the Delivery Agreement lines.

The TI Inbound Lot Code field must be filled out in order to use this action and the Stock Center Code for the TI Inbound Lot Code, and the Delivery Agreement must be the same (in this instance: P1).

The user then selects Actions > Production > Create Production in order to create a production of the trade items in the Delivery Agreement lines.

Select Yes to confirm and create a production.

The lines in the Delivery Agreement will turn bold and green and that means that the trade items have been reserved for production.
