Blanket Harvest Plan

The harvest planning functionality provides a two-tier system: blanket harvest plans for strategic forecasting and daily harvest plans for operational execution.

Blanket Harvest Plans

Blanket harvest plans represent overall harvest forecasts covering an extended period (weeks or months). These strategic plans are then distributed into individual daily harvest plans for specific execution dates.

Creating a Blanket Harvest Plan:

  • Navigate to Blanket Harvest Plans from the role center

  • Create a new plan and specify the harvest plan number

  • Enter a descriptive name for the forecast period

  • Set the Expected Harvest Start Date and End Date to define the planning period

  • Specify Location Code and Stock Center Code for harvest operations

  • Connect to a Farming Lot (optional) for traceability to production

Setting Spread Parameters:

The spread parameters define how the harvest will be distributed across size grades and quality levels:

  • Quantity to Spread: Total live weight (ungutted) in kilograms

  • No. TIs to Spread: Total number of fish (trade items)

  • C/V to Spread: Coefficient of variation for size distribution

  • Calculation Type: Choose between Quantity, No. of TIs, C/V, or Manual

  • Factor Ungutted to Gutted: Conversion factor for weight calculations

  • Unit ID for Distribution: Unit identifier for distribution calculations

Optional parameters include:

  • Downgrade Rate: Percentage of fish expected to be downgraded

  • Superior Rate: Percentage expected to achieve superior grades

Generating Blanket Plan Lines:

  • Use the "Create Harvest Plan Lines" action after setting parameters

  • The system generates detailed lines showing distribution across size and quality grades

  • Lines display Expected Count, Live Weight, Product Weight, and Expected Boxes

  • Review and adjust lines as needed while the plan status is Open

Managing Plan Status:

  • Open: Plan is editable and lines can be modified

  • Released: Plan is locked and ready for distribution to daily plans

Release the plan when forecast parameters are finalized and ready for operational distribution.

Creating Daily Harvest Plans from Blanket:

  • Release the blanket harvest plan

  • Use the "Create Daily Harvest Plan" action

  • Specify the date range and which days to create plans for

  • The system distributes the blanket quantities across the selected dates

  • Each daily plan inherits settings from the blanket plan

Redistribution:

When daily plans need adjustment:

  • Use "Redistribute" to reallocate quantities across existing daily plans

  • Posted or released daily plans retain their quantities

  • Only Open daily plans receive redistributed amounts

  • "Delete Harvest Plans" removes all connected daily plans for regeneration
