Sales Process

The sales process encompasses tools for managing customer orders, monitoring inventory and commitments, and executing deliveries efficiently.

Sales Daily Items

Sales Daily Items configuration determines which products appear in the Sales Daily Overview for quick access and monitoring.

Configuring Sales Daily Items:

  • Navigate to Sales Daily Items setup

  • Add up to 20 items for monitoring

  • Specify Item No. for each slot (1-20)

  • Enter Description for display purposes

  • Choose whether to use Description for column headers in overview

The configured items appear as columns in the Sales Daily Overview, providing at-a-glance visibility to key product availability and commitments.

Sales Daily Overview

The Sales Daily Overview provides a comprehensive view of inventory, demand, and supply for key sales items, enabling informed decision-making for order fulfillment.

Accessing the Overview:

  • Navigate to Sales Daily Overview from the Sales role center

  • The overview displays up to 20 configured sales items

  • Information is organized by location and lot for detailed visibility

Understanding the Display:

The overview shows for each item:

  • Inventory: Current stock available at the location

  • Receipt Agreements: Incoming supply from receipt agreements

  • Production Agreements: Expected supply from production

  • Supply Total: Sum of inventory and incoming supply

  • Delivery Agreements: Committed demand from orders

  • Demand Total: Total committed quantities

  • Available: Supply Total minus Demand Total

Filtering and Analysis:

Apply filters to focus the view:

  • Date Filter: Show commitments for specific time periods

  • Stock Center Filter: View specific facilities

  • Location Filter: Focus on particular warehouse locations

  • Lot No. Filter: Track specific production lots

  • Salesperson Filter: View orders by sales representative

Quick Actions:

From the overview:

  • Create new Delivery Agreements for identified opportunities

  • Create Production Agreements to address supply gaps

  • Create Receipt Agreements for incoming inventory

  • Navigate to related documents for detailed information
