MES Integration is the part of the Wisefish APIs application that handles integration to an manufacturing execution system (MES). The MES Connect module is used for integrating Wisefish with an external Manufacturing Execution System for sending and receiving messages. It facilities the two way communication between the Wisefish modules and the MES system where the outbound messages like master data and sales order are sent and the inbound messages like production output, materials etc. are received.
The Wisefish Farming module integrates to Manufacturing External system to execute the following operations.
Send orders to MES
The user can send the Delivery Agreement to MES system through the Wisefish. Create a DA, add required sale lines and click on Send Order to MES. Once the order is sent successfully to MES the MES status in DA page changes to “Sent to MES”.
Receive production output from MES
MES system can send the Production Output details to Wisefish, all the received production output are stored in MES Transaction table as displayed in below image.
The user can perform error checks on all the data received and then validate that the data is correct. Once the data are verified the production data can be posted to production lots.
