The Meal and Oil module includes
-
Quality data: laboratory results recorded per lot (protein, fat, water, salt and other parameters).
-
Mixing and reservation: select quantities from silos, zones and single trade items, see the weighted average quality of the selection, and reserve it to a Delivery Agreement.
-
Moving between zones: move quantities between zones and silos. Moving into a silo mixes the meal.
-
Quality-based pricing: a difference between agreed and actual quality on a Delivery Agreement can give a discount or price change, which is passed to the sales document as an item charge.
How the module works
-
Set up the stock centers, zones, silos and items (see Setup and Configuration).
-
Register quality. When meal or oil is produced, the quality inspector records the laboratory results on the lot (see Meal and Oil Quality Registration).
-
Store and move. Warehouse staff keep lots apart in zones, or mix them in silos, using Move between Zones.
-
Mix and reserve. The salesperson opens Meal Mixing and Reservation from a Delivery Agreement, selects quantities until the quality and quantity match the customer's needs, and reserves them.
-
Price by quality (optional). Agreed and actual quality on the Delivery Agreement can give a discount on the sales invoice.
