The system automatically generates a number (No.) according to the WiseFish number series setup. The Sell-to Customer No. is the internal customer that the trade items are being sold from and which is inherited to the sales documents, posted and un-posted. The Location Code indicates the location where the trade items are located before an internal sale is made. The Stock Center Code indicates the Stock Center (producer) which is designated on the trade items to be sold internally.

There are two options under the Internal Sales Posting Type:

  • Ship and Receive Inventory - When the Internal Sales Agreement is posted the system creates and posts sales and purchase documents for the selected trade items.

  • Ship Inventory - Receive Costs - When the Internal Sales Agreement is posted the system creates a sales document with inventory and a purchase invoice which is posted directly to a general ledger account which takes the trade items out of the inventory system.

The Receipt tab indicates all information for the vendor to receive the trade items that are being sold. When the user has filled out both the General and Receipt information, the trade items to be delivered can be selected.
