Create Receipt Agreements from Delivery Agreement
One way to reserve Trade Items in a Delivery Agreement is by creating Receipt Agreements (Purchase Documents) straight from the Delivery Agreement page.
In other words, the system can generate receipt agreements (purchase documents) to acquire stock based on the sale, ensuring inventory levels align with sales commitments.
Prerequisite
Before creating Receipt Agreements, the External Stock Center (External Producer, Vendor’s stock center) must be selected for each line, along with the Purchase Price for the vendor.
The Purchase Price can be recorded either in the Delivery Agreement Currency or the Vendor Currency.
When the External Stock Center is selected, the vendor number is automatically populated from the Stock Center Card.

Additional prerequisites can be found under the Receipt Agreement tab:
Default Payment Terms and Shipment Method(Receipt Agr.): If selected, it will inherit on all created Receipt Agreements
Currency Assignment Method (Rcpt. Agreem.): Choose the method for assigning the Purchase Price. Possible to select either the Delivery Agreement Currency or the Vendor Currency specified in the lines

Creating the Receipt Agreements
When the delivery agreement lines have been recorded, a receipt agreement can be created against a vendor/supplier with an action in the ribbon.
In the ribbon of a released delivery agreement the action Create Multiple Receipt Agreements is selected.

Fill out more detail if needed.

If no Payment Terms or Shipment Method is selected, the system will retrieve them from the Vendor card, if available.
If a buyer-created tax invoice for an external producer is involved, then the field BCTI Invoice is checked on the Receipt Agreement.
The field Inherit Sales Price can also be checked, which copies the sales price from the delivery agreement lines to the newly created receipt agreement lines.
Note that additional setup options are available in the WF User Profile, where you can, configure default values.

When done. click Create Receipt Agreement(s) and the system automatically creates Receipt Agreements for the Delivery Agreement. A new page opens that displays which Receipt Agreement(s) were created.

The page includes actions that allow users to easily release and post the linked Receipt Agreements.
It's possible to batch process the following actions:
Releases
Create Purchase Documents
Post Purchase Orders
Purchase Invoices

When inventory is received (posted receipt or invoiced) from the supplier the lines automatically reserve to the Delivery Agreement lines.
Automatically process the creation and posting of Receipt Agreements
In the ribbon of a released delivery agreement the action Automatically Process the Multiple Receipt Agreements Creation and Posting Method is selected. This will open the same page as before.


Click Create Receipt Agreement(s) and the system automatically create and posts Receipt Agreements for the Delivery Agreement. The system will also post the purchase receipt so the inventory will be available in stock.
When the system is done posting a page opens that displays which Receipt Agreement(s) and purchase documents were created and posted

If any errors occur, it is possible to navigate the related Receipt Agreements, as explained in the next chapter.
Navigating linked Receipt Agreements
To view the linked Receipt Agreements it is possible to click in the Receipt Agreements under general or use the action Managing Creation/Posting of Purchase Documents.
