Trade Item Output Journal

The Trade Item Output Journal is a way to create stock of produced items, by entering production information manually and post.


Using the journal

If using the Role of the Wisefish Production module, the Trade Item Output Journal can be found on the ribbon of the home screen. Else just by using the Search field.

  1. Select a Batch to use

  2. Create a new line

  3. The main information that needs to be entered in the journal are marked with Mandatory in
    the https://wisefish.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/WFPR/pages/edit-v2/4654878#Field-list below. This is at least

    1. Posting Date

    2. Item No.

    3. Lot

    4. Location and Stock Center

    5. Quantity and units of measure

  4. When the line is ready, click Post.
    If posted successfully, the line will disappear.

When a production has been posted successfully through the Trade Item Output Journal, this has been modified in the system:

  • Trade Items have been created, these can be seen in the Open Trade Items page or the Fact Box of the Lot

  • Item Ledger Entries have been created, these make up the stock in the inventory system. These can be seen, for example, by using the Item Ledger Entries used to Lot option in the Lot Card.

Field list

The main fields in the Trade Item Output Journal:

Field

Description        

Posting Date.

The posting date of the production entries.

MANDATORY

Stage

The processing stage at which the products are made.

MANDATORY

Item No.

The item number of the product being produced.

MANDATORY

Stock center

The producer and custodian of the product.

MANDATORY

Trade item lot code

The production lot that links the raw material consumption and production.

Location code

The location where the products are being produced.

MANDATORY

Trade items (Base)

The number of trade items being produced - as defined on the item card.

MANDATORY

TI (Base) UoM Code

Trade Item Unit of Measurement – as defined on the item card.

MANDATORY

Quantity

The quantity that corresponds to the TI (Base) UoM Code box.

MANDATORY

Unit of Measure Code

The unit of measure code that corresponds to the „Quantity“ box.

MANDATORY

Reserve to Agreement

If inventory is to be reserved for a specific agreement, the type of agreement can be selected in the box.

OPTIONAL

Reserve to Agreement No.

The number of the agreement being reserved to.

OPTIONAL

Reserve to Agreement Line No.

The line number of the agreement being reserved to.
