Introduction

In the inventory of a Wisefish Warehouse, there can be two types of Trade Items:

  1. Own items: Trade items that are either produced or purchased, in the ownership of the company operating the warehouse. The company is therefore focused on running the warehouse functionality for its own benefits internally (cost-driven).

  2. Storage items: Trade items that are received into the warehouse in the ownership of a third party
(one of the warehouse’s customers). The company operating the warehouse is therefore
focused on service-based storage and making revenues on keeping the goods in storage, receiving and delivering goods as requested by the owner. These trade items are recognized by the value Storage in the field Creation Type.
