For freezer trawlers, fish is processed (filleted, frozen, etc.) at sea rather than landed as raw material, so the trip card has a Production and Product Lines area where that onboard production is recorded.
As a freezer trawler trip can run for weeks, rather than waiting until the vessel returns to port to know what came out of the catch, the system lets you enter an estimate of the expected production (product types and quantities) while the vessel is still at sea.
Estimated productions can be added to Registered Fishing Trips in the Production Lines.
In the Fishing Trip Statistics Fact Box, information about the estimated production quantity, value and production exchange value is displayed.
When landing the Fishing Trip, no Trade Items or Item Ledger Entries will be created for these lines.
