Assign Production BOM to Item Card
Once a Production BOM has been created, it must be linked to each Finished Good (FG) item on the Item Card.
On the Item Card, you can define up to four different types of BOMs, depending on the nature of the production process. The Standard BOM field is the most commonly used option

The specific BOM that gets posted during production is determined by the Production Lot, based on the Production Type defined on the Lot Card.

The following BOM types are supported, each corresponding to a particular production scenario:
Standard BOM: For production lot types where the company itself provides the Raw material, Ingredients, Packaging materials, Labour and other resources.
Contracting BOM: For production lot types where all the materials are provided by a third party owner, and the company only charges processing fees.
Repacking BOM: Where there is no change of Raw Materials nor Finished goods, only repacking of finished goods takes place.
Relabeling BOM: When only applying new labels to finished goods products.
A BOM Analysis/Inspection Overview
When BOMs have been assigned to item cards, users can use the BOM Analysis/Inspection Overview to drill down into multiple layers of BOMs.
