Trade Item Consumption Journal

When allocating raw material to a production line it needs to be posted to reduce the inventory level and record it to the appropriate production lot. This is done with the Trade Item Consumption journal.

Using the Journal

If using the Role of the Wisefish Production module, the Trade Item Consumption Journal should be visible on the ribbon at the top of the home screen.

When the consumption journal has been opened …

1. Select a Batch to use

2. Create a new line

3. Populate the following fields as required:

   1. Posting Date

   2. Stage

4. Start the action Select Trade Items from the ribbon at the top of the page.

   1. Select the trade items to consume on the left side of the page.

   2. Click Reserve Trade Item from the ribbon at the top of the page.

   3. Repeat until all items have been reserved
      

      

5. The selection of trade items is confirmed by pressing OK at the bottom of the page and then the system creates the lines in the consumption journal.

6. When the journal has been verified, Post it.
   

   

Information about the posting is updated on the right side of lot card (consumption on the right and production on the left).

There it is also possible to use „Recall Analysis“ for all the entries that were created by the posting.

Select Open TIs to Jnl

In the page Select Open TIs to Jnl there is a double header;

• Filters - Filters that are entered in the header become active in the window on the left side of the page (Open Trade Items for Selection), which displays open and available trade items.

• Defaults

  • There is a field Posting Date that is automatically copied to the usage lines when the trade items have been selected.

The reserved line then becomes italic and red to signify that it has been reserved and a new line is created in the window on the right side of the page (Selected Trade Items to Journal). If the whole amount of the selected line is not to be used, then the number of trade items in the right side window can be changed using the action „Edit Selected Qty on Trade item from the ribbon at the top of the page.
